I grew up in sunny Orange County, California--and yes, it’s just like the TV show. As a journalism student at Northwestern University, I investigated miscarriages of justice for the Medill Innocence Project and learned how to shoot a rifle and defend myself with a ballpoint pen. In my past lives, I’ve been a librarian, a barista, and the editorial director for a luxury lifestyle and fashion website. I live in Brooklyn.
